Recommended Dining Options While in Cincinnati

Walking distance from hotel:

  • Element Eatery: Large informal food hall next to the hotel with several options including local BBQ, Latin American Street Food, Ramen, Po’ Boys, Soul Food Fusion, American, Pizza, and 48 beers on tap.
  • Mazunte: Homemade corn tortillas, salsa bar, delicious tacos, what more is there to say?

5-15 minute Uber from hotel:

  • MadTree Brewing: Wonderful local brewery with plenty of outdoor and indoor spaces. Great pizza- many standard options plus gluten-free crust, vegan dairy-free cheese, and plant-based meat options.
  • Zip’s Café: Yummy burgers and fries, and a model train zooming around the place.
  • Dewey’s Pizza: Local next level pizza and the best salads around.
  • Amma’s Kitchen: Very special South Indian restaurant, all-vegetarian with lots of vegan dishes, gluten-free dishes, and supervised by Cincinnati Kosher.
  • Ambar India: Close to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, it is everyone’s favorite local Indian Restaurant.
  • Holtman’s Donuts: Including this here for donut aficionados. Arguably Cincinnati’s best donuts. Try the maple-bacon and the fruity pebble.

20-30 minute Uber from hotel:

  • Over the Rhine Area: This fun and busy area has a ton of unique dining options, bars, shops, activities like duckpin bowling, and nightlife. Be sure to check out Washington Park while you are there. Favorite dining options include: Abigail Street, Bakersfield, The Eagle, Krueger's Tavern
  • Downtown Area: The downtown area has some wonderful upscale dining options: reservations are typically required. Favorites include Sotto (fantastic rustic Italian, our BMT group goes every year for the Holidays), Mita’s (Chef Jose Salazar’s second restaurant- amazing Spanish and Latin American tapas - order a bunch to share among friends), Boca (be sure to get the Pommes Soufflés), Jeff Ruby’s Steakhouse (arguably the best steak you will ever eat) and Montgomery Inn The Boathouse (famous ribs and sauce, great atmosphere).
